The room is warm and full of light. There are potted plants crowding the windowsill with their leaves pressed up against the the windows, all green and translucent. Fabric is strewn all around the room, piles are folded on the shelves and tossed onto the tables. There is a thick journal laying among the mess with fabric and lace scraps poking out of the pages.

-need to buy an offwhite raschel lace (gathered one for the hem and a double sided scallopy one for the other trim) & maybe pink ribbons? or I'll use the off-white ribbons I already have...
-using this to make the pattern.. might have to make 2 1/4 circles to make my pattern.
-I already have plenty of elastic to make the partial shirring, and the netting to make the built-in petticoat. Don't know what I want to use to make the lining... maybe that poor muslin.... need to prewash fabric as well...
-I have enough fabric (I think) to make a top to go with! We'll see once I cut the fabric out.

Another meta dupe
Using a modified version of this pattern to have enough width to be shirred in the front (should I do the back shirring too?). I will be omiting the button front because I hate sewing buttonholes. Will be trimming with the same looped lace and ric-rac and self fabric ruffles. May do the modern Meta thing and just overlock/serge the edges of the ruffles instead of hemming them (if I learn to use and set up the serger by then XD).

What can I say, I get side tracked easy. All I need to do for this is add another row of elastic on the waist to fit me better and replace the sleeve elastics, it's already taken out and everything :/
